4. How long will it last?
As the WaterToT™ is made from Neoprene, like a wet suit, the
only maintenance required after use is a rinse in clear, cool water
and hung to dry. If soiled, a small amount of cleaning fluid rubbed
gently into the fabric should suffice. Depending on application,
care and frequency of use, the WaterToT™ should provide safer
water fun for each child in your family - up to 30 pounds.
How long can I use it for?
Depending on the weight of your child, the WaterToT™ can be used,
comfortably, for as long as needed. However, when a swimsuit is
baby’s and the caregiver’s general attire one may find that some
irritation could arise on exposed skin due to rubbing over extremely
long-periods of time. The WaterTot™ infant carrier is NOT designed
for ANY running, jumping, diving, swimming, water-skiing,
water-ballet or water-gymnastics of any kind! Please remember
WaterToT is first a safety product and should be used to move baby
safely in and around a water environment. It’s primary design is for
wading or showering more comfortably and safely with baby. It is
simply safer when your hands are free and not burdened with having
to hold the little one. It is recommended that the carrier maintain
empty hands (as in: not a lot of stuff to carry) while transporting
a baby in WaterToT™.
6. Is there a 'quick release' for
getting the baby out of the WaterToT™ in case of emergency.
The WaterToT™ is equipped with a sliding feature, which allows the
caregiver the opportunity to move the baby from side-to-side to
avoid any sudden danger. It is strongly recommended that caregiver
maintains sure-footed, slow and steady progress when transporting
baby in .WaterToT™. Safety and safe handling is always job 1.

1. Is it easy to
get baby in and out of? Can I do it myself?
It is easiest to put the WaterToT™ on first, then slip baby into the
front seat. When the WaterToT™ is wet, it is more form fitting. It
is best to grip baby under arms, on the chest and gently pull up
while wiggling baby to loosen the seat - like taking off a swimsuit.
2. Is it complicated to put on and take off the carrier?
No. One person can do it easily. It slips over the head of the
carrier like a tank top. Ensuring that shoulder straps are placed
with tether reinforcement facing outward. The waist straps snap
together (much like a back-pack) one either side of the carrier's
waist. If vertical placement adjustment of the baby in relation to
the carrier is required, the sliding-lock engagement on the
carrier's back may be adjusted and the baby-seat slid along the
shoulder straps to a comfortable position. To get out, the carrier
needs only to unsnap one waist clip and pull the carrying harness
over her head. This can be done while baby is in the WaterTot™ if
necessary.
3. What age group of baby's is it designed for?
The WaterTot™ is designed for baby's who have head control and are
between 10 and 30 pounds and 20 to 30 inches. As it is designed to
carry baby facing outward, baby must have good head control and be
able to modify body temperature. Not younger than 4 months,
generally.
